International Women's Day 2026: Give To Gain
On 8 March 2026, the world comes together once again to mark International Women’s Day, united by a theme that speaks to both responsibility and possibility: Give To Gain.
The message is clear and deeply human. When we give, we gain. This year as we mark International Women’s Day, the message resonates clearly across all borders and cultures. Giving is powerful. Giving is transformative. Giving creates gain for us all.
At first glance, giving may seem like sacrifice. In reality, it is an investment. The Give To Gain campaign calls for a shift in mindset - from competition to collaboration, from scarcity to abundance, from individual success to shared progress. It reminds us that gender equality is not a limited resource to be divided, but a collective achievement to be multiplied.
Women who are mentored often go on to mentor others, in turn, those who receive opportunities frequently open doors for the next generation. A single act of support can create a ripple effect that reaches far beyond its starting point. In this way, giving becomes a catalyst for long-term, sustainable change. It invites the world to act with intention and generosity. It invites us to see equality, not as a distant goal, but as a shared responsibility.
At the SupaJam Foundation, we believe there are many ways to give.
Yes, financial support for women-focused initiatives plays an important role—helping fund education, mentoring, and opportunities within the creative industries. But giving can take many other forms too. Sharing time, offering encouragement, advocating for others, and opening doors can be just as powerful.
Through our work at SupaJam, we see this every day. Whether it’s industry professionals sharing their experience with our students, mentors guiding young people through challenges, or partners helping create opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach. Each act of support helps a young person build confidence and believe in their future.
We’re especially proud to work alongside organisations like Flourish Mentors, an inspiring all-women charity dedicated to mentoring women. Partnerships like this allow us to connect young women with guidance, role models, and support networks that can have a lasting impact on their personal and professional journeys.
Real change also starts with awareness and everyday action. Challenging stereotypes, calling out bias, celebrating women’s achievements, and actively listening to different perspectives all help create a more supportive and equitable environment.
At SupaJam, we’re committed to helping young women find their voice and build pathways into the creative industries. Through mentoring, workshops, and partnerships with organisations like Flourish Mentors, we aim to create spaces where women feel supported, confident, and empowered to pursue their ambitions.
International Women’s Day is a moment to celebrate progress—but also to reflect on how we can continue to support the next generation.
So the question remains: what can each of us give today that might help create opportunity for someone tomorrow?
