The SupaJam Foundation empowers individuals, advocates for positive transformation, and provides support to young people as they navigate and advance in their lives.

Why Our Young People Need You

Every year, thousands of young people with SEND leave specialist education without the structure, support, or opportunities they once relied on:

  • Only 17% secure full-time employment.

  • Students with SEND are twice as likely to drop out of university as their peers.

  • Representation in the £100 billion UK creative sector remains low.

  • In 2023, one in five young people aged 8-25 reported a mental health condition such as depression or anxiety.

Without continued guidance, many face isolation, anxiety, and barriers to employment. Each year, around 50 students leave SupaJam colleges alone, with many more across the UK in similar positions. They need a bridge—a community that believes in their potential and helps them find their place in the world. The SupaJam Foundation provides that bridge.

“ Pre-uni was when I was really anxious, and that's when the mentorship programme really helped, because my mentor never once was, like, oh, no, don't feel anxious. It's okay. She was, like, ‘no, well, that's normal… feel it, process it, and you’ll be okay.’ Having your feelings validated is more important than being told not to feel them.”
